Resveratrol in red wine has been the subject of many studies. The studies have suggested multiple anti-aging and overall health benefits. Now, a new study shows resveratrol to be a new weapon against breast cancer.

The study showed that resveratrol stops a mutated protein from aggregating. This mutated protein is present in more than half of all breast cancer cases. The mutated protein was significantly inhibited in mobility and its ability to multiply.

Researchers were very encouraged by the study results and eager to develop new therapeutic uses for resveratrol in cancer treatments.
