Dr. Khemka has had a lifelong interest in the vital relationship between the mind and body when it comes to health. From yoga and Ayruvedic medicine, to biofeedback and clinical psychology, to advancing the knowledge of East/West integrative medicine, Dr. Khemka has spent a his life working to improve people’s mental, emotional and physical health.
In his professional clinical psychology and biofeedback practice, Dr. Khemka has used a wide variety of techniques for relaxation, stress management and weight loss, including biofeedback, hypnosis, progressive relaxation and autogenic training. By combining traditional psychology with meditation, nutrition counseling and other alternative modalities, he has created a versatile, powerful approach to helping each individual find the strength within themselves to transform their bodies, hearts and lives.
Dr. Khemka has taught psychology at Wisconsin State University and Purdue University at Indianapolis. He has consulted with numerous alternative and traditional medical organizations serving a broad range of needs from cancer treatment, to weight loss, to general health maintenance. He has worked with a wide variety of professional organizations, corporations and private groups, giving numerous lectures, seminars and workshops on counseling and psychology, biofeedback, weight loss and holistic health.
Dr. Khemka came to the U.S. as a Fulbright Scholar. He studied at the University of California at Berkeley and received his Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Hawaii.
