Your bones are the structures which support your entire body. But in order for your bones to move without grinding together you need something to lubricate the points where they meet. Your "joints" provide that lubricating protection. These joints are covered with connective tissue and cartilage to keep them stable. They are also lined with a membrane called the synovial membrane. It secretes a fluid, synovial fluid that lubricates the joint as the bones move. This fluid is also responsible for providing nutrients to the cartilage cells (chondrocytes) since there are no blood vessels that travel to that area. In turn the chondrocytes produce the nutrients that make up the protective lubricating synovial fluid.
These nutrients are called glucosaminoglycans. They are the very nutrients that make up all the connective tissues in your body. If for some reason the chondrocytes do not produce the correct amount of glucosaminoglycans, then the synovial fluid deteriorates. If the fluid deteriorates then the chondrocytes don't receive the proper nourishment. Then they start to break down and the whole process starts to snowball. This breakdown can eventually lead to very painful arthritic conditions. But thanks to Mother Nature, there is a natural solution.
Based on the latest research findings, Medical Doctors Research has formulated Chondro-Pro, a natural supplement that provides an abundance of the building materials your body needs to maintain cartilage integrity.
Glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate are two components that your body uses to make the connective tissue that supports healthy joint function. But there are seven important glucosaminoglycans involved in the synthesis and maintenance of connective tissues in your body.(1) A few combine glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate. But MDR provides you with shark cartilage, a source of glucosaminoglycans that have already been metabolized into cartilage. Our unique patent pending formula contains the highest grade of shark cartilage available today. In addition to this natural source of glucosaminoglycans, MDR added an additional 750 mg of glucosamine to enhance the effectiveness of the shark cartilage.
Several medical studies show that glucosamine is an effective treatment for arthritis. In one study 218 patients were given either ibuprofen or glucosamine. The results of these studies showed glucosamine to be of similar efficacy to ibuprofen. The conclusion is that glucosamine is effective in the maintenance of healthy joint function. Researchers believe glucosamine may offer more benefits that analgesics.

In a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trials, glucosamine was shown to produce beneficial effects in patients with knee problems. Additionally, it has an excellent toxicity profile and helps to downregulate the catabolic effects of pro-inflammatory molecules, which are present in unhealthy cartilage.

Hyaluronic acid is another glucosaminoglycan that is essential to cartilage formation. Hyaluronic acid is one of the main building blocks that holds the cartilage together. Supplements containing Hyaluronic acid may help support joint function.
(4) The shark cartilage complex in Chondro-Pro provides an all- natural source of Hyaluronic acid.
In addition to glucosaminoglycans, Chondro-Pro provides other nutrients targeted for chondrocyte protection. It contains green tea extract, grape seed extract, and vitamin C. These are all important antioxidants that are involved in protecting your cartilage from free radical damage. Free radicals occur as a result of pollution, stress, toxins, and everyday metabolism. If you are breathing, then you are exposed to free radicals. In addition to being a potent antioxidant, vitamin C is also necessary for connective tissue formation. If your body doesn't have enough vitamin C, it can't make cartilage.
MDR Chondro-Pro Healthy Joint Formula contains nutrients that support your bone health. Calcium, manganese, copper, and boron are added to supplement your dietary intake with minerals that are essential for your bones' health.
Try Chondro-Pro today. It may be your first step to taking many more smooth-moving steps.
